Die Casting

Die Casting

Die casting is a metal casting process that is characterized by forcing molten metal under high pressure into a mold cavity. These molds, called dies, are designed to produce complex shapes with a high degree of accuracy and repeatability. Parts can be sharply defined, with smooth or textured surfaces, and are suitable for a wide variety of attractive and serviceable finishes. Die castings are some of the highest-volume, mass produced items manufactured by the metalworking industry, making the quality of the cast, and the cycle time of the process, critical to customer success.

E-Jay Thermo manufactures precision components in a variety of sizes in a broad range of aluminum, magnesium alloys, and zinc using hot chamber and cold chamber die casting technologies. E-Jay Thermo products target supporting cost-effective and efficient casting operations through improved insulation and metal quality throughout the process.
